Gateway and Pathways to Employment

Year 12 Gateway and Year 13 Pathways to Employment are subjects with a focus—students learning real-life skills to support them along their career pathway.

Manage time, handle an interview, develop communication and customer service skills, explore career pathways, listen to guest speakers, participate in workshops.

They’ve already discovered what employers are looking for—a good attitude, enthusiasm, and reliability.

As part of the course, students are especially looking forward to going out on work experience to learn more about the ‘real world’ and future career options.

If your business may be able to help out with offering a work experience workplace for one of our students, please get in touch here. Work experience is for one day a week for five weeks at no cost to the employer.

Our skills, our career, our future!
